Does xVx hold practice/training games for members? (Is it ok for me to setup one up using xVx in title?) It would be nice to have some games where everyone (most) has a mic and we can work up some basic strategies. I am new to Warhawk as I’ve only been playing for less than 4 months, but see a lack of teamwork or planning in most games. Would be nice to have fellow clan members’ work with you in a game. I have found that when just two or three players work together in a game of 10 per side, they can turn the tide. I am still learning where some items are and map layouts. Strategic planning in base control, objective captures support for returning capture sure would go a long way. I try to announce when certain objects are ready for pickup, like clusters, tows, mines, tanks and Warhawk. I think this helps but get frustrated to be on a team that has players running around with shoulder missiles not harassing the enemy when trying to get air control or even balance. Frustrating to have an enemy Warhawk come into a base drop off a couple of players to take our Tank & APC along with a coordinated ground attack by armor to capture the Flag or Zone, then we’re all flat footed and it is hard to get back.
Maybe we can form some sub groups of 3-6 players that can work out communications and basic strategies for playing and then when we play in games together it can really payoff. I know once you reach a certain rank you have all this down but people coming up don’t seem to understand the importance of a wingman in the air or someone coving your 6 on the ground.
Just a thought from a newbie.
