OK, so I just broke my fifth ps3 controller... am I the only one who does this in xVx? Getting expensive playing Warhawk... Few things gets me mad, but playing an air battle game and not killing anyone for like six minutes, instead getting killed five times in a row pisses me off! The controller deserved it...

Remember it's only a game, getting kill is part of the game, with time you will be doing the killing, but save your controllers, lol

I had to buy a new style controller with the XBOX style design because the PS3 controller was killing my hands. I was playing for hours and my hands would cramp up and it became painful to press buttons. I was making death an art form, usually me being the one killed. Usually this occurred when I was flying a Warhawk. I dread the dogfights. Actually hate them because I can't compete and press the buttons quick enough to avoid being someone's new bf. The new Xbox Style controller is actually easier to hold and my reaction times are much quicker, but overall I still suck as a pilot. I just hang in there and keep trying to improve. I'm getting better, but compared to many that's played this game for a long time I'm just target practice for them. Anyway, if you see me in game playing and I'm in a Warhawk and your on the opposite team, please have mercy. LOL, DustyBoot

I converted my settings to Pro-Flight. I like it much better. Easier to maneuver and avoid missiles. Only hard part about Pro-Flight is once you get someone on you tail, it's hard to shake them off unless I do some really wacky maneuvers and that usually ends up with me shaking hands with a mountain top (Suicide). Overall, since I changed to Pro-Flight, I'm getting as many kills as deaths and can actually fly the plane with more control and slip through those narrow openings with ease. Still kills my hands, but I've won a few medals since using Pro-Flight and actually ranked to Wingman in one night using the Warhawk instead of ground operations. Dromekilla, I believe I played quite a few times with you online the passed few weeks, your a pretty good pilot if I remember correctly. I think you shot me out of the air a couple of rounds. Then again, I think I hit you with a launcher a few time myself as payback. LOL As you said practice and patience. I've improved considerably over the past month or so. It's actually quite fun when I see some clan members playing. DustyBoot

Thats great dude using the pro-flight control will increase your skill immensely flying the aircraft. Unfortunately I cant use the pro-flight as well but i do enjoy flying upside down. Now that you have the air to ground skills, Dusty, you can earn a combined-arms achievement ribbon. Keep kicking ass xVx
